While I have the skills and talent of an illustrator, I’m not an illustrator—I’m a storyteller. My name is Kay, and I’m a collector and sharer of stories, based in Seattle, WA. I take pride in living authentically, staying true to myself while chasing my desire to do good in the world.
I grew up in a tough household, where I had to be and act like a 30 year-old when I was barely 16. It’s these scars and experiences that fuel my passion to create, and hear and share stories. For years, I focused my creative career on chasing stability, sacrificing my dreams for the life I thought I was supposed to have—The life I was told to have. But now, I’m chasing me. I’m learning what it truly means to live my life, on my terms, not someone else’s boring blueprint.
