Major magazines also appreciate Jim's humorous style, as evidenced in issues of Nickelodeon Magazine, Sports Illustrated for Kids, and Hey Kids! Magazine.
Jim enjoys illustrating books, especially children's books, where he can showcase his talent for fun, colorful backgrounds and character continuity. Jim and his wife Terri have recently published their first children's book; Little Rhino has no Horn.
Upon graduation in 1983 from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Jim bought a one-way ticket to Central Florida. A well-rounded illustrator, his portfolio includes samples of corporate work for such industries as home and commercial building, entertainment and theme parks, the internet, sports, environmental, educational, products, services, and more. Serving advertising agencies as senior art director for nearly two decades, local and regional Addy awards now line the walls of his home office.
A native of Orchard Park, New York, Jim is an avid sports fan and entertainment trivia buff. He met his wife, Terri, at an ad agency where she was director of public relations. Terri hails from Bryan, Ohio, and brings to the ; marketing and production experience. They live with their daughter in Windermere, Florida.
