I've had the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects for many diverse clients in over six years as an illustrator and graphic designer. I prefer the term "illodesign" to describe my work, as it is not simply one or the other. In any project, I find a healthy balance between handcrafted illustrative qualities and the clean, graphical qualities of design. In my illustrations, you will always find an element of graphic design, and in my designs (even websites) you will find touches of illustration.
I have proven in my career that nothing is out of my element; I don't believe in settling on a single style. Limits do not fit into my world of illodesign. As well, I don't recognize projects as either large or small. Every job is as important as the last, whether it be a layout for a start up blogger, a painting for a law office, or an ad campaign rendering for a major brand name.
The goal of any illustrator or designer is to find the best way to grab an audience's attention and convey a message for a response. In order to accomplish this more effectively, I strive to surpass current trends of illustration and design by exploring fresh approaches.
Simply stated, my work isn't done until you can say "looks great!"
